This design has to be one of our all time favorites! We LOVE working with clients on a regular basis, it creates the most trusting and honest relationship. So when we received the call about this Money & Mimosas Brunch, we were so excited! Without any design direction, our clients let us take full creative control and design a dream brunch that was filled with instagramable moments for guests to share online. When the guest list includes an elite 50 social media influencers, it’s important to make sure that every detail is perfect…and we couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out!

Kids at Your Wedding: Yes or No?

Whether or not you and your fiancé choose to allow children at your wedding is inevitably something you’ll have to address. The two of you should take time to consider the factors of having kids at your wedding: How much will it affect your budget? Will you allow all children to attend or only those involved with the wedding? Will you arrange for any childcare services?

Decide early in the planning process before you start writing out invitations and be prepared for some ruffled feathers in response. Whatever your expectations, be clear about them, and how you want to deliver that information. For example, “Please make it a date night! Our wedding is for adults only.”

Should you decide to allow kids at your wedding, here’s our best tips!

• Designate a kids-area with: games, coloring books, or building blocks at the reception.

• Have a children’s menu.

• Arrange for childcare so parents can enjoy.

Just remember that this is your day and you get to decide who’s invited to the wedding. Be thoughtful and helpful to your guests with kids if they aren’t allowed to attend; and if little Emily can’t keep away from the dance floor on wedding day, just enjoy the moment and make sure the photographer snaps a cute pic of all of you dancing together!

Party in the USA: Fourth of July Tablescape

With the Fourth of July fast approaching, we designed a fun & festive table setting to serve as inspiration for your Independence Day festivities.

We started by hand-making our very own red, white and blue balloon installation to hang over the table. The 6’ table was covered with textured off-white linens and had modern white dining chairs, providing a perfectly clean canvas for our red and blue accent pieces. We used silver flatware, gold-rimmed charger plates, patterned blue plates, and small white “PARTY” plates for the place settings, and finished off the look with picnic-inspired red plaid napkins, American flag pinwheels, and vintage glass Coca-Cola bottles--because what’s more American than that? We decorated the table with bowls of blueberries and strawberries to add some more pops of red and blue, and finished with white vases with American flags coming out the top. With all these little details, we really made sure this table setting said “USA!” from top to bottom!

We just loved the simple Americana vibe of this tablescape and we think it’s perfect for your Fourth of July party!

The Ranch Laguna Beach Wedding - Erica & Mikey

The Ranch Laguna Beach

Erica & Mikey’s wedding at the Ranch in Laguna Beach was breathtakingly beautiful! The natural bohemian style with edge embodied the couple perfectly in creating wow moments that would be memorable to them as well as their family and close friends. Some of our favorite elements were Erica’s custom leather jacket, the gorgeous burgundy toned bougainvillea accenting the ceremony arch by The Bloom of Time and the couple incorporating family and friends into the ceremony. Erica’s mother and brother walked her down the aisle where the couple exchanged handwritten vows from their custom vow books as the ceremony was officiated by one of their closest friends.

It was such a special day that we were happy to share with Erica & Mikey, not only with Jenny as their Wedding Planner but also with Taylor as Maid of Honor.
