This last weekend we showered one of our brides with a bohemian fiesta themed Bridal Shower. The shower took place in a beautifully lush green backyard in Irvine, CA and the weather was perfect, maybe a little sunny according to our tan lines.
Keep reading to see how we brought this design to life!
Dining Area
We brought in our wood cabanas and hung rows of bistro lights to provide additional lighting and ambiance as the sun went down. The 18' Kings table had textured champagne colored linens, gold chiavari chairs and gold charger plates. We added some dimension to the table scape by alternating peach and coral colored napkins. Gold flatware, pink water goblets, gold calligraphy name cards and a succulent in a metallic gold pot that also served as gifts accented each place setting. The center of the table was filled with loose greenery, gold votives, lemons, limes, oranges and various tones of large floral blooms set at various heights for added dimension. Our favorite part was the balloon install that hung in the center of the two cabanas.
Margarita Bar
We LOVE margaritas so we had to have a margarita bar! A peach toned linen was the perfect accent to our Balloon install that draped over the green hedge and the custom wood sign that the Bride can re use for her wedding day! What compliments a summer margarita better than watermelon? We cut watermelon triangles and added wood sticks so that guests could easily eat and not get sticky because no one likes sticky hands while you are sipping on some margs. With the left over watermelon we added garnish for the margaritas.
Gift Opening Area
The bride was so excited about her white peacock chair! It was the spot for gift opening. Especially with the rug being used to keep the gifts off the grass. How perfect were the balloons and greenery that we added to the chair? It tied the entire theme together.
Photo Op
Every bridal shower should have an epic photo op! We created a cascade of white paper flowers on our hedge wall and it was amazing! Wooden crates and additional touches of loose greenery and citrus tied the whole scene together. Don't forget the polaroid camera to snap the pics. A bar cart is the perfect place to keep the polaroid camera, its stylish, pretty and practical.
Cake Display
Not only was the cake delicious but it was beautiful! The two-tier naked cake was adorned with fresh berries and displayed on a gold bar cart with a white screen backdrop.
Balloon Install
The big wow factor was for sure the balloon install we did around the Margarita Bar and the Dining Area. The balloons totaled over 25' and added a fun and vibrant vibe to the shower. The finished look took our breath away, and not just because we blew up all the balloons.
We absolutely loved every detail from this shower and thank all the vendors who helped us bring our vision to life! Cant wait for Erica's wedding on October 27th at The Ranch Laguna Beach.
